This walking tour is a little bit of everything, an introduction into Budapest’s culture. A mixture of local markets, historical sights, urban legends, street art and hidden gems off the beaten tourist track, spiced with traditional food examples. While we discover the main sights (Heroes’ square, Vajdahunyad Castle, City Park, Andrássy Avenue, Jewish Quarter, St. Stephen’s Basilica…) of Pest side, we will focus on the inner treasures and the secrets of the downtown. The best way to understand a new country is through it’s food, everything has a story behind. Let’s try the locals’ favourite “lángos” and “rétes”, far from the tourist traps. Let me show you how colourful is my lovely Budapest from the locals’ perspective!
